I’m Still Here

My lack of posting and comments has probably shown that I have been away from my blog much of this month. Life has taken some unexpected and painful twists and turns for my family in the last few weeks. Couple that with some frustrating (and annoying!) computer problems and you have one tired blogger that just couldn’t find the time to focus on her blog.

I have missed blogging though and want to attempt to keep it up even if it is not on a daily basis like it has been. This might be okay too when I factor in that the changing weather makes writing about my garden a little bit more challenging! This blog has brought me much joy through all the people that I have met and I do not want to loose that, especially right now.

I did also want to say thank you to Karen from Greenwalks as she has been leaving such nice comments on my older posts while I have been away. No doubt that these comments made by her have helped get me back on here to post some more!

Cynthia – I’m so so sorry you have been going through a rough time! I kind of wondered, when you stopped your daily visits and posts… I hope things are getting better. I have truly enjoyed looking at your archived entries and will continue to do so if you ever have a “gap” again. :) Hang in there!

I hope all is well with you this evening. All of us bloggers have up and down times. I got burned out once and left for a month. You don’t have to visit all the blogs as often. Or you can come by and not comment. Most of us skim read to keep up and post when we can.

So stay encouraged and we’ll be here when you have some time!!

  7. I hope things begin to look up for you soon. It’s hard when life takes a downturn for a time. Here’s a big cyber-hug that will hopefully make you smile.

That’s a bug that’s really been going around a lot lately. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Though I don’t know exactly what they are I pray you make it through this troubling time and come back stronger and better than ever. I haven’t been commenting daily at my usual stops either so don’t feel too badly about it. Life happens, right?

Thank you so much Granny. It really does mean so much to me right now. In all of our 15+ years together my husband and I have never been knocked down this hard before. I am holding onto my blog as it has brought me so much joy- much like my garden and knitting does. I am holding on to these things right now as I need to see there is a light at the end of this tunnel my family has stumbled into.

I hope to have a new post up within the next day or so. It has been hard getting out to the garden through all of this ordeal and I miss it.

Once again, thank you so much for showing your concern. Here is a great big cyber HUG back! :) -Cynthia

    To all that have commented-

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of your kind thoughts and words. It really does mean so much to me and my family right now. I mentioned it earlier and I will say it again- it never ceases to amaze me just how much kindness came be found in the world of blogging. I do not know how long this painful period is going to last for me and my family- I pray it is over here soon. Hopefully within time I will be back with a vengence here at Brambleberries in the Rain!

Through all the muck I am still finding peace in my creative endeavors. I do consider this blog to be one of those. I am holding onto these outlets that I have as they bring me peace and happiness and I do not want to loose sight of that right now. It would be easy for me to let my garden and this site go right now but I do not want that to happen. So thank you to everyone for encouraging me to keep going.

I appreciate everyone’s comments so much. Thank you once again. -Cynthia
