Ravelry in Review 3

by Cynthia mybloggingplanet.com

It is Friday (already?!) so I thought I would post another Ravelry in Review. Hope everyone is having a great week. Over here you would never know it was summer. It has been very wet and gloomy and downright chilly. This weekend should bring some better weather- I hope! At least it is still comfortable enough to continue knitting. Once the heat kicks in (if it ever will) knitting is not quite as enjoyable in my home. No A/C you know! Anyway, on with the patterns in review.

**********

I mentioned last week that I have this new attraction to two toned shawls and here is another one. I really must cast one on for myself. Yes, very soon.

I love that this free cardigan pattern is not your typical cardigan. It is simple but still very stylish. Not to mention is looks super comfy!

Paulie by Isabell Kraemer

This baby blanket has been a favorite of mine for quite sometime now. Someday I hope to get around to making it. It just looks like a family heirloom. (Actually all of Jared Flood’s patterns are amazing. I stare in wonder at them- they are just too perfect.)

I had to include this pattern because not only is it just the cutest but my family and I just went strawberry picking and are enjoying all those yummy berries. Even little Gabriel is in love with them. I need to knit the little ones up a couple of these. They would just be delighted with them. Oh, and the pattern is free!

This cotton sweater seems just right for summer. It is knit in the round and seamless. I like the contrast of the ribbing against the garter stitch.

Mudita by Kristen TenDyke

That brings me to the end of another Raverly in Review and to the end of another week. Hope you have a great weekend and happy knitting (and crocheting!) Are there any patterns that have caught your eye lately?
