I am barely making it to my computer tonight to do up this Ravelry in Review post. I’m so tired! I really need to get myself a little bit more organized here and possibly right up some drafts! It might make my life a little easier!

Today found us seriously looking at another home to possibly buy in Southern Washington. We went out and looked at it again today and did all the number crunching with our realtor. I don’t want to say too much more after what happened with the last home we put an offer on. I don’t want to get my hopes up too high this time!

For this week’s Review I have two patterns for the kiddos and two for the adults and one for the home.

I really need to stop casting on more things for Ariella and make myself something for a change. This is definitely a pattern I would like to make for myself. I love the drape and it just looks so cozy.

Isn’t this little girl vest  so cute! I love the little cap sleeves. I also love the sizing– 6 months to 14 years!

I realized I haven’t reviewed a shawl pattern in a few weeks. That’s surprising since I love looking at shawl patterns. This is a new one on Ravelry and I am liking the construction of it. It looks interesting and like it would be a fun knit. I also like the chunky look of the thicker yarn. The pattern states you can use any weight yarn. Sounds like a good stash buster to me!

Here’s yet another cardigan for the little ones. In case you haven’t noticed, I tend to like the patterns that have a wide variety of sizes. That is because of me having a four year old as well as a one year old. This is another pattern that I could use for both of them as it is sized to fit ages 1 to 7.

Finally a knit from for the home. How about a rag rug knit from recycled t-shirt yarn. Sounds like fun doesn’t it? This pattern is a FREE download and includes some brief instructions on how to make your own t-shirt yarn.

Have you ever tried knitting with t-shirt yarn? I have always wanted to try it but have never actually gotten around to it. What do you think of knitting with recycled t-shirts?
