Can You Id This Weed?

Last week I had posted about two of the weeds in my garden that are persistent and uninvited guests that seem to multiply by the thousands over night. I had also mentioned a third weed that I have not a clue as to what it is. I finally remembered to take this weed’s picture before brutally (and victoriously) yanking it out.

Whatever this weed is it is popping up all over my garden. It is especially making its appearance known in the new vegetable garden and along the edges of our compost piles.

I think the two below pictures are fairly decent enough for identifying it. If anyone happens to have a guess as to what this plant may be please let me know. I really hate being at war with a plant when I do not know what exactly is. (Both pictures can be clicked on to enlarge.)
