I picked up the book The Peach Keeper from my library over the weekend. I have only barely started reading it and can already tell it is just the kind of story I need to be reading right now. Now, if I can just find some time in the evening to sink down into it that would be very nice! I have been filling up my nights catching up on things that have not been getting done during the day or cannot be done with little ones running about. Or actually change that to lying about. Ariella has been very sick this week with a sore throat and all that goes with that (fever, runny nose, etc.) and I now belief that Gabriel might be coming down with it. So far the older boys have managed to dodge it. Hopefully mom will too!
Last night (late last night- I really need to stop staying up so late) I cast on this pattern for Gabriel. I’m so excited about it to because I am knitting it with some of my own handspun that I am absolutely in love with right now. It is super soft and squishy and is going to make the warmest and most cuddly little vest for my little man.
I can’t wait to catch up with all of you and see what is currently on your needles and what good finds you have to read!
