My Little Garden Helper

by Cynthia on July 18, 2008

I wanted to share these pictures of my daughter that I took today. I took her out to our deck after her nap (please excuse her hair- bad case of bed head!) and she immediately grabbed my watering wand and proceeded to “water” my containers. She went around the entire deck doing this. So cute! She was mimicking Mommy all the way.

Aww! Some days I miss it when the kids were so small. I just love the joyous moments they give you when everything is new and wonderful. Not that my kids are THAT much grown but my youngest is 7, so she’s nothing like what she used to be.

What a delightful helper! I used to have two helpers like that but they grew like weeds and are now weeks away from being 16 and 18, respectively.

How sweet is she! My boys are so big now, they look like grown men. (15 and 19) I miss them being so tiny and cute…sometimes. lol Maybe she’ll be a garden guru like mom?

Thank you all for the sweet comments. She is my baby and I want her to stop growing like a weed! Her bothers are 14 & 9 so she is the baby baby. It would be neat if she grew up loving to garden like me. Right now she is my little cosmos girl as she keeps picking all of them in the garden especially the really pretty ones!
