I do, however, have one picture I would like to share today that did not get included on yesterdays Bloomin’ Tuesday post.

I have this poor zucchini that was struggling to make it under the sea of Cosmos it was growing under. Once I pulled all the Cosmos up it began to make up for lost time. I am in disbelief that we are now into October and I have a zucchini plant that is still flowering! A plant’s will to survive never ceases to amaze me.

I’d forgotten that the flowers of the zucchini are that vividly beautiful! Such refreshing beauty in simple things.

Hi Brenda,
They are quite beautiful aren’t they? Simple but full of such a grand purpose. -Cynthia
I just love the bright orange blooms on squash plants. How amazing that you might get a zucchini in October. I hope you & your daughter feel better soon. It seems to be the season for illness, I’ve read alot of posts of other bloggers who seem to be under the weather today. Take care.
Thank you Racquel.
The weather has been so strange this year and I think it tends to wreck havoc on those of us that are prone to getting sick.
If it can hold on a little bit longer I think I might be able to get a couple zucchinis out of that plant before the winter does it in. Fingers crossed at least! -Cynthia
Here is a big healing hug headed your way. The cold weather is coming fast this year. I for one welcome it. It is odd how your vege is growing. It better produce fast.
Hi Anna,
-Cynthia
We have had the oddest weather this year. The beginning of this week we almost hit 90 degrees! Now today it is in the 60′s with rain on its way. Thank you for the hug.
Cynthia and daughter, get to feeling better real soon. OK? Winter is heading our way soon, so we need to get out to enjoy our gardens as much as we can, while we can!
I agree! I want to get outside while I can before the relentless rain begins up here. I feel it rapidly approaching. Thank you for the warm wishes.

That zuchini flower is beautiful, hopefully it’s able to grow before the weather turns too cold.
I hope you’re feeling better soon. Son was starting to feel a bit sick and wheezy, but I gave him some medicine and a nice hot bath and some prayer he’s feeling much better now. Take care!
Thank you Cinj,

I hope your son is feeling better now that he has had some TLC.
That’s cool about the zuchinni. I have several different mints too, love them!
Hi Darla,
-Cynthia
I don’t know if it will be around much longer but is sure is one determined zuchinni! I grow too many mints really but they are so much fun!
Sorry you guys are not feeling well, that first cold of the school season can really knock everyone flat (we’ve already had ours, but it lingered). Hope you’re both on the mend! Maybe the rain will give enough of a break for you to finish up with the fall garden tasks. Hope so, anyway. Go, zukes!
Hi Karen,
There is suppose to be a break in the rain on Sunday and I hope that is true as I want to get out there and finish some a few things up in the garden before the cold weather settles in. Fingers are crossed! Thank you for the well wishes! -Cynthia
