I know my last post here was for Skywatch Friday but I just couldn’t resist posting this picture for today’s Skywatch. (Not to mention I seem to have a thing for shooting pics of the sky these days.)
Just look at that gorgeous blue sky! Spring is definitely on its way and I could really feel it in the air today. (We shall see about this weekend though seeing that SNOW(?!) is in the forecast.) I was able to wander the garden with camera in hand and found many signs in and around the yard that does prove that spring is indeed right around the corner. I will share those pictures in tomorrow’s post. This particular picture is of a birdhouse that I have owned for many years now. It really is on its last leg but I just love the weathered look it has acquired through all of the seasons it has endured.

I just love the view of the mountains you have from your backyard. What a great thing to see everyday & that sky is pretty shade of blue. Hope you don’t get anymore snow!
I saw that same sky today–the calm before the storm or more appropriately the blue before the white. Love the rustic birdhouse and the landscape behind it.
The blue sky combined with that lovely birdhouse is just wonderful. I keep thinking about building a birdhouse though I have yet to make it a priority. So much to do, so little time.
