Week of Wacky Weather

rainbow

For today’s Skywatch Friday post I have a picture that I took from my deck Wednesday evening. All this week we have been having some pretty wild weather. It will rain cats and dogs all day and then by the afternoon it will attempt to clear up. I say attempt because every evening this week has ended with some thunder claps and hail. Wednesday evening was rather spectacular as we saw multiple rainbows. It is not viewable in the picture but there were actually 3(!) rainbows out there when I took this shot. We were spellbound by the site as we all huddled around the door staring out at the beauty before us.

Has anyone else experienced any wacky weather this week?

Have a great weekend everyone!

It’s been pretty quiet around here this week anyway, but in MI you never know what you are going to get, pretty little rainbow!

Our weather has been beautiful, wet, wild, windy, warm and everything in between. Feels like winter, not spring!
Nice shot though

Just wonderfully normal spring weather here this week! Not too hot, not too cold, sunny and warm, just right.

That is a awesome rainbow. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful photograph. I guess we weren’t the only ones with rain and rainbows this week! I posted one on my Sky Watch Friday post as well.

My tulips are in shreds because of our “whacky” weather!

We’ve had similar weather in my area minus the hail though. That rainbow was a lovely ending to your wacky weather. :)

What a beautiful photo! Your blog is making me miss the Northwest. We have been in New England for the past three years, and while it is very beautiful here, I get homesick for that area from time to time.

We have had much the same weather as you. And yes a rainbow of our own. Your picture is lovely.

Have a great day!

Great picture of the rainbow. Our weather was beautiful for Mother’s Day, but has been raining and chilly today in NC

Wow!
That is one magazine worthy image! I love it!
And three rainbows? That is a lot of gold.
Send us a little moisture down here to central Texas please.
ESP.
