Enjoy those young years, they go by so fast!
I live a ways northeast of Washougal, in the Cascade foothills. Stumbled upon your blog and love it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments and warm wishes on our new baby. I can't tell you how happy it made me to see your comments and know that after my long time away I was not forgotten by some of my favorite bloggers. I'm sure my blogging will be sporadic at its best for a little while. Or at least until I can squeeze more hours out of the day!

Once again thanks for the kind words!

Congrats on you new baby. I have a 6 month old baby girl and we almost skipped the garden this year as well. But, she has been an "easy keeper" :) and we are now going gang-busters. We just tuck her into the sling or baby back pack or jogging stroller. She loves to watch what we are doing. I love your blog as I was looking up some info on borage and your site popped up. I live in the South Sound and have a little rural homestead on 5 acres. We have a lot in common. Take care of yourself and the new wee one!
